Velvet French Hood

The French Hood is based on pictures of Anne Bolyn and the young Princess Elizabeth.
The french hood is made of a black cotton veil sewn to a white cotton coif (cap) and a separate black velvet crescent decorated with gold braid and white imitation pearl beads. A thin white cord passes under the chin or ties behind the head to hold the coif in place securely and the crescent is pinned to the coif with straight pins. You can easily sew or glue additional decorations to the Crescent for a fancier look. One size. Colors: Black, Green, or Blue velvet.
