Pirates and others who used their swords onboad ships that were often cramped and crowded, opted to use cutlasses because the curve made the cutting edge longer. This sword has a 25" blade, a brass pommel, and red tassel. It comes with its own sheath that can be tucked into a sash or suspended from a belt.
