A traveler on a pilgrimage to holy places needed a sturdy robe for protection from wind, rain and sun. The hood is very large to fit over a hat or helm. THe sleeves are large to hide your hands when you cross your arms. It is similar to the robes worn in Star Wars by Jedi knights but is based on real historical garments.
The Traveler's Robe is made of a non-irritating, warm wool blend. It is made of over 8 yards of fabric. Quality shows in the skillfully placed pleats on the shoulders, the cartridge pleating in the hood, and the hidden pockets in the side seam. Wear it open like a mage or closed like a monk. Order by height, sizes: Medium for people 5'4" to 5' 10"tall, or Long for 5'10" and taller.
