The sharp spike dagger was designed for penetrating armor.
This dagger comes with a spiral carved grip in black. The blade shape is related to the Spanish Cinquefoil, which meant "five fingers wide." The unusual handle shape was designed to fit into a socket on a spear (later period warriors used them as plug bayonets). The spiral carving facilitated lashing them to the spear shaft.
