The front closure is reinforced with coated metal boning and the neckline is a little higher in the front than the Barmaid's bodice. The fabric is easy to decorate with trim or embroidery. Don't waste your money
First day I wore it one of the very slender boning pieces in the front snapped, and the back seam tore out, I wasted a lot of money on this. Dear Lisa, You could have taken advantage of our 30-day money back guarantee. And if it was a faulty metal stay, we would have refunded your shipping, too. We rarely have problems with our garb, but when we do, we take it back and repair or refund if asked. I've changed the description to make it clear that it is not fuzzy. Customer Service

Runs Small
I usually wear a 2X...so I ordered a 3X to allow for shrinkage since I know the twill used will shrink as I have the Itish Dress on a 2X. The 3X size is more like a 1X. So back it goes.
