A sleeveless outer gown to wear over a chemise or blouse and skirt.
The quintessence of medieval dress, the surcoat, was worn over a chemise or a plain gown and was often belted at the waist. This version is made of cotton twill for long wear and easy care. The full skirt is longer in the back than in the front to create a graceful train in the back. The wide armhole openings are trimmed with metallic woven trim.

Love this surcote! True to size on the chart. Could not have fit me better if I was standing there when they made it! Superior service - I ordered one with 2nd day shipping for an event, but the color I wanted was out of stock. Great Surcoat
Surcoat sizes are a great match; only wish they would come in petite sizes as I have to take 6 1/2 inches off the bottom and re-hem. Unfortunately, am used to altering anything that goes past my knees :)
