A traveler on a pilgrimage to holy places needed a sturdy robe for protection from wind, rain and sun. The hood is very large to fit over a hat or helm. The sleeves are large to hide your hands when you cross your arms. It is similar to the robes worn in Star Wars by Jedi knights but is based on real historical garments.
The Traveler's Robe is made from our wrinkle resistant Twill fabric and the top half is lined with muslin. It is made using over 8 yards of fabric. Quality shows in the skilfully placed pleats on the shoulders, the cartridge pleating in the hood, and the hidden pockets in the side seam. Wear it open like a mage or closed like a monk. Order by height, sizes: Medium for people 5'4" to 5' 10"tall, or Long for 5'10" and taller.

Traveler's Robe
I have wanted one of these for YEARS and recently had means, motive, and opportunity to snag one. It is so roomy and the hood can fall under that Emperor Palpatine look as well so it's a cross fandom "utility" cloak. I use a black rope belt and have a wooden cross necklace so I favor Monk stylings and am going to wear this on Halloween this year, heck, EVERY year if I can swing it! Lol! Great purchase, great price, great quality.

cleargy robe with hood
This is the exact robe I was wanting, to replace one that I had a few years age but wore out. I only wish that it had some snaps ore a huck and eye to attach it at the neck
